This MOD adds a series of painting-related functions, allowing you to freely choose the painting style you want when painting.

The following is a translation of the original MOD introduction

We all know how annoying it is to find and draw all the different paintings available in the game (of which there are hundreds!)... but your Sims will keep drawing things you already have... so to ease the pain, let me introduce you to...

This new "Paint from Catalog" pie menu option lets Sims select and make any in-game painting at their easel that's available at their current painting skill level...so no more scratching after a restart and you have complete control over what your Sims will paint!

To unlock this feature, your SIM card needs to meet at least one of the following requirements:

Have an active painter career of at least Lvl.5.

Painting skills must be at least level 8.

Purchase any relevant painter's reference guide books.

(Available from: Buy Books > Skills for §1.000 each)

Purchased Rob Russ' Magical Deluxe Easel.

(Can be purchased from: Build > Activities & Skills > Creative for §25.000)

Once your Sim meets one (or more) of these conditions, you'll see more themes and options unlocked.

Some notes:

It is not necessary to read the Painter's Reference Guide book to unlock the related paintings on the easel, it is enough if your Sim has them in their personal or bookshelf inventory, or even if it is just placed somewhere in the parking lot.

While Rob Russ' Enchanted Deluxe Easel unlocks all options immediately, there are still some necessary level requirements if needed.

(For example, the Hyperrealism option is only unlocked at Painting skill level 5, as there are no Hyperrealistic Paintings available in the game below that level.)

The "Draw from Catalog" option is also compatible with any third-party paint replacement mods you may have, so no worries!

FAQ:

Q: Why are the thumbnails for some paintings just flat images instead of the default 3D images in the Paint from Catalog selector dialog and in my Sims inventory?

A: Technically this is not a bug but more of an in-game limitation and only affects object thumbnails in the selector dialog and Sims inventories, not the painting itself.
