The Sims 4 Hyper-Real Production

This MOD adds realistic birthing options, you can choose to give birth in a hospital or at home!

There are two options for hospital delivery: natural delivery and caesarean section, while for home delivery, there are two options: water birth and bed delivery.

• When Sims enter the first trimester of pregnancy, they can select "Call Obstetrician" on their mobile phone to arrange delivery.

Choose hospital delivery. During natural delivery, the Sims' water will break shortly after arriving at the hospital, entering the early labor stage. The entire delivery process can last up to two days. You can do activities such as walking, breathing exercises, bathing, or using a yoga ball to speed up the finger opening process.

A caesarean section is a more direct method of delivery, requiring an obstetrician to inject the Sims with an epidural (painless injection).

Once the anesthesia takes effect, the Sim will skip the early stages of labor and give birth immediately.

If you choose to give birth at home, please purchase a birth pool or birth pillow in advance, corresponding to water or delivery bed respectively.

Once you're in labor, call your midwife. A midwife NPC will be generated on the site to assist you in giving birth!

• If you want someone to accompany you during delivery, you need to set it up through "Request to accompany you during delivery" under Friendly Interaction.

If you change your mind, you can click "Request not to accompany the childbirth" again. Failure to do this interaction will result in unaccompanied delivery by default.

To ensure that the accompanying Sim does not leave for work during the birth, click on them and select "Maternity Leave".

• Enter labor, select surgical machine/natural birth/cesarean section, click on the pregnant citizen - "Give birth in the hospital" to go to the hospital, and make sure that the accompanying citizen will go with you.

After arriving at the hospital, Ctrl + Shift + C enter testingcheats true to turn on the cheat mode, hold down shift and click on the hospital surgical machine, and change it to a natural delivery bed/cesarean section bed as needed to avoid bugs.

Select Home Birth, click Pregnant Citizen - "Start Home Birth" to unlock the option to "Call Midwife" on your phone.

• Natural delivery requires waiting for the baby to open the fingers before proceeding. You can learn about the condition of the fingers by interacting with the obstetrician.

Methods to induce labor include yoga ball exercise (search for yoga ball in the build and purchase mode, it is recommended to buy it in advance and put it in your carry-on list), partner back massage (click on the yoga ball to interact), breathing methods (click on the hospital bed to interact), shake with your partner, take a bath, or click on the baby to go for a walk;

For a caesarean section, you need to "request an epidural anesthesia" from the obstetrician before the operation.

The epidural only works 60% of the time, if it fails, click "Request a replacement epidural" from your obstetrician.

During home birth, interact with the midwife to "ask to check the condition of the fingers" and "check the condition of the baby". The method of inducing labor is the same as above, and if you have a birth pool at home, you can also unlock the "Snuggle in the Water" interaction. The labor induction interactions are all equipped with animations, so be sure to try them!

• After opening the ten fingers, click on the obstetrician in the hospital and the midwife at home to interact with the childbirth, and the birth attendants will consciously come to accompany you.

Both natural birth and caesarean section are equipped with independent animations for singleton, twins and triplets, please be sure to try it!

The delivery is considered complete when the child is born.
