Automatic Traditional Chinese to Simplified Chinese conversion tool official version
自动繁体转简体工具正式版
About this mod Machine translation
The official version of the automatic Traditional Chinese to Simplified Chinese conversion tool is released today
Functional features are as follows:
- Automatically generate a simplified module for you that adapts to your game version, and automatically install it for you in your mods directory.
- Automatically repair traditional blank strings to the original English version (English is better than seeing nothing at all)
- One-click operation, the whole process is automatically completed by the tool, all you need is to run it and wait for a moment.
- When your game is significantly updated or new DLC is installed, just run the tool again to update your simplified module. (According to your needs, you do not need to run the tool every time the game is updated)
- In addition to using this tool for Traditional Chinese conversion, you can also use it to extract all Chinese text strings in the game into a package at once.
Operational requirements:
A Windows computer that can run The Sims 4 properly
How to use:
There are three steps in total: download, unzip, and then double-click to run "Simplified Patch Generator.bat"
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
