✨ Main functions
Removed the 9 limitations of each type of map marker in the game, now you can mark all important locations as you like!
- 🗺️ **Unlimited Marks**: No longer limited to 9 markers
- 📍 **Full Log**: Mark all areas with items or inaccessible areas
- 🔄 **Easy Backtracking**: Easily return to the places you have explored
🛠️ Installation Guide
- First install BepInEx and configure it according to the instructions
- Enter the Hollow Knight Silksong game directory
- Find the **/BepInEx/plugins** folder
- Place the InfiniteMapMarkers.dll file into the folder
🔧 Troubleshooting
If you encounter problems, check that BepInEx is loading correctly:
- View the **/BepInEx/LogOutput.log** log file
- Confirm that the message `Infinite Map Markers X.X.X has loaded!` appears in the log
💡Using experience
This mod is especially suitable for players who like to explore! you can:
- Mark all hidden areas and collectible locations
- Record places that are temporarily inaccessible but want to return to later
- Create a personalized exploration roadmap
Although technically not truly infinite (the upper limit is 999), who would place 999 markers of the same type at the same time? 😊

*Author's Note: This is my first Silksong mod, and first time making a mod for a Unity game. After waiting for a while, I found that no one had made this function, so I decided to do it myself! *
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
