Time scaler (customize game speed)

A super simple mod that speeds up or slows down your game. I made this mod to speed up in-game scripted cutscenes on repeat playthroughs (like the scene at the beginning of the game where the wasp weakens and walks slowly)

✨ Core Functions

By changing Unity's global time scaling variable, you can freely control the speed of the game:

• ⚡ **SPEED GAMEPLAY** - Quickly skip repetitive cutscenes
• 🐌 **Slow Down Game** - Slow down and enjoy every detail
• ⏱️ **Optional Timer Scaling** - Adjust in-game timers as needed

🎯 Usage scenarios

Especially suitable for the following situations:

• Scripted cutscenes sped up on repeat playthroughs
• The scene at the beginning of the game where the wasp is weak and walking slowly
• Any time you want to adjust the pace of your game

⌨️Default control keys

• **Period key** → Toggle time scaler
• **1 key** → Decrease target time scaling by increment value
• **2 key** → Increase target time scaling by increment value
• **3 key** → reset target time zoom to 1x speed
• **F5** → Reload configuration file from disk

⚙️ Custom settings

The default multiple is 4x speed, you can adjust it in the following ways:

• Press F1 to open the BepInEx configuration menu
• Edit configuration file: `Hollow Knight Silksong/BepInEx/config/com.Wagyu.SkongTimeScaler.cfg`
• Setting a value less than 1 can make the game run slower

📥 Installation Guide

• Install BepInEx
• Unzip the Silksong Time Scaler.zip file
• Extract the "BepInEx" folder to the root directory of "Hollow Knight: Silk Song"
• Done!

⚠️ **Note**: Although no issues have been found so far, using custom time scaling may cause unexpected behavior, so please use it with caution.
