Apply maggot effect when taking damage
infectedfalom
🎮 **Hey bile water lovers, challenge runners and masochists! **
You probably found this mod because you're craving a little extra pain.
I hear you want to get maggot infested more often…
Welcome to **Infected Falorm**, a masterpiece mod that applies juicy **Maggot** effects to you when you take damage.
⚙️ Custom configuration
You can also make it even better and enable some nice **damage over time** effects by modifying the `infested_pharloom.cfg` file.
📥 Installation Guide
- Install BepInEx 5 and Configuration Manager
- Unzip and put the .dll file into the BepInEx\plugins directory
🔧 Optional configuration (after running the module once)
Edit the `BepInEx\config\infested_pharloom.cfg` file:
- **PenetrateWreathOfPurity** - Default: false
- If set to true: Ignore your garland and always become infested with maggots when taking damage
- **MaggotTickDamage** - Default: false
- If set to true: Each silk pool tick will also cause 1 mask damage, and healing while infested with maggots will also result in the loss of 1 mask.
- Maggot water is also more dangerous (a little unexpected, but hey, this is a challenge mod)
⚠️ Known issues
- Not all damage taken actually applies the maggot effect (some hazards don't), but almost all enemy damage does.

Have fun!

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
