Damage Reduction
⚔️ **Damage Reduction**
*This mod should solve the problem of almost everything doing double damage. The damage of most enemies and bosses should now be set to 1.
However, you can still increase the damage or set it to 0 by going into the BepInEx configuration folder and changing DamageValue = 1 in com.sky.silksong.damageoverride to any number you want. *

💡 Notes
- I've only tested this mod in environments that would normally do double damage, I'm guessing they just do 1 damage but trigger twice, so I can't tell for sure which objects still do 2 damage
- Most bosses should now deal 1 damage instead of 2. I tested it on the boss near the castle and it worked well
- I will use this mod to conduct a complete game flow test, there should be no bugs or problems. Download it and try it out to see how it works!
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
