About this mod Machine translation
Adding a simple configurable health regeneration feature that feels fair but can be set to make the game more challenging or more forgiving as needed.
Automatic health recovery
✨ Add a simple and adjustable health regeneration function to "Hollow Knight: Silk Song" to make the game experience more balanced!
🩹 Features
- **Scheduled Treatment**: Restore 1 health point every fixed interval (default 15 seconds)
- **Smart Pause**: After taking damage, pause and resume for a short period of time (default 20 seconds), then continue
- **Fully Configurable**: Delay and interval can be adjusted to personal preference
🛠️ Installation Guide
- Make sure BepInEx 5 (v5.x, x64 version) is installed
- Download this module and unzip the .zip file
- Copy SilksongHealthRegen.dll to the `BepInEx\plugins\` folder of the game directory
- Start the game to take effect
⚙️ Configuration instructions
- Close the game after launching it for the first time
- Open the `BepInEx\config\` folder in the game directory
- Find the achintya.silksong.healthregen.cfg file
- Use a text editor to modify the following parameters:
**DamageDelaySeconds = 20**
*How many seconds to wait before automatically recovering health points after being injured*
**HealIntervalSeconds = 15**
*The interval between restoring 1 point of health each time*
🔧 Troubleshooting
- **NO HEALING EFFECT**: Check if BepInEx and mod files are installed correctly
- **NO CONFIGURATION FILE**: Will be automatically generated after launching the game for the first time
- **Recovery speed issue**: Adjust the value through the configuration file. The larger the value, the slower the recovery.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
