Document Text Fix
Fixes blank text on documents and directory pages in Shadows of Doubt.
When you open a blank page, the mod refreshes it and tries to restore its text from the game's document data. It works automatically with all documents; no special fix is built in for a single case. It does not change your save.
If the game no longer has the text, the mod shows an error code and writes details to BepInEx/LogOutput.log.
Install
Install Mod Manager. The required BepInEx IL2CPP package installs automatically.
Still seeing a blank page?
Search BepInEx/LogOutput.log for DOCUMENT_TEXT_. Share that line, the document name, and your game version when reporting the problem.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- Most mods rely on the game's mod loader — the usual route is a community mod manager (such as r2modman): pick this game, install, and it handles the loader and dependencies.
- For a manual install, put the mod files into the matching Mod / plugins folder inside the game directory.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; mods with listed dependencies need those installed as well.
Install locations vary a lot between mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
