Tenchu Mask (WIP)

🎭 **Make the wolf wear Rikimaru’s iconic mask! **

✨ Module Features

This texture modification mod gives Sekiro's protagonist wolf the appearance of Rikimaru's mask from the classic game Tenchu! Although it is still under development, the visual effect of wearing a mask can be perfectly displayed under the normal game perspective.

🔧 Current status

⚠️ **Under Development**:

  • At normal game distance, the mask effect is very realistic
  • A small amount of hair may appear through the mold when viewed from a close distance
  • Since it is a texture map, the inside of the wolf's mouth will be visible when it is animated (the author is considering whether to also change the mouth to black to enhance the effect)

---

📥 Installation Guide

  • **Install Mod Engine**

If you have not installed Mod Engine, please visit:

  • **Create mods folder**

Create a folder named 'mods' in the Sekiro game directory (where the .exe file is located)

  • **Create parts subfolder**

Create a new folder named 'parts' within the mods folder

  • **Place files**

Put the module file into the parts folder and start using it!

🌟 **Improvements Welcome**: If you have suggestions for texture repairs or improvements, please provide help - this seemingly simple texture modification is actually quite complicated!

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
