Moonlight retexture created for Kanamaru
Shinto Moonlight Sword
✨ Module Features
This is another retextured version of the Moonlightsaber! I've noticed that most of the existing remastered textures are faithful to the original sword and its Western counterpart, but since the game is set in the East, a katana needs to have a hamon clay treatment to show off the beauty of the layers of folding it went through during the forging process.
I also added a Shinto pattern to the base material and came with a scabbard engraved with Shinto scriptures. While the final product doesn't fully capture all the details that went into the creation, be sure to check out the full texture map in the image to appreciate how beautiful it is! 😊

Making this mod was a lot of fun! Hope you all like it! Due to time constraints, I won't be making an Immortal Slash version for the time being, but I will definitely do it in the future! 🌟
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
