Seki’s improved wedge pill
✨ Module Features
This mod completely improves the wolf's weapon - Kedge Maru! FromSoftware had good ideas when designing this weapon, but there are some problems with its actual presentation. Now, Kakimaru finally deserves its status as an heirloom of the Hirata family!
🗡️ Weapon improvement details
**Appearance optimization:**
- 🔄 Adjusted the size of the tan (gauntlet) and flipped it 180 degrees on the Y axis
- 📏 The size ratio of the knife stem and tangent is more reasonable
- ✋ The handle has been lengthened and thinned to better fit the hand shape of a wolf
**Improved realism:**
- ⚖️ Rebalanced the weight distribution of the weapon to be closer to a real katana
- 🛡️Enhanced the durability and kinetic energy dispersion of the tool handle
- 🎨 Replaced the original blade with a re-textured Immortal Slash
🎯 Technical details
**Model replacement:**
- The blade has been replaced with a re-textured version of the Immortal Slash
- 刀鞘也使用不死斩的刀鞘
- All parts resized to match wedge shot length and hitbox
**Texture Features:**
- The scrolls of Genichiro Ashina and the Ninjas of the Shadows are added to the scabbard.
- All textures have been renamed to avoid conflicts with NPCs
💫 User experience
This improved wedge ball not only looks more refined, but also has a significantly improved feel! Rebalanced weapons are smoother to use, making you even more powerful in combat. As an heirloom of the Hirata family, the current Kakimaru has truly shown its due quality and momentum.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
