PlayStation Icons for Sekiro

🎮 **Icon mod specially created for PlayStation players**

✨ Module Features

I put a lot of effort into this mod! Previous PlayStation button mods changed icons by editing lines of code, but since the game was updated, many files have changed and those methods no longer work.

My solution was to edit the actual texture of the icon directly, replacing the Xbox icon with the PlayStation icon!

⚠️ Known issues

  • The orange highlight in the main menu controller options still uses the Xbox highlight effect and does not match the PlayStation controller
  • Not sure how to fix this yet, but maybe one day I'll find a solution
  • Everything else (mainly tooltips) works fine

📥 Installation instructions

**Requirements:**

  • Requires Sekiro Mod Engine installed

**Installation steps:**

  • Place the mod file into your Mods folder
  • Launch the game and enjoy the PlayStation-style interface!

🙏 Acknowledgments

Special thanks to Katalash, I used one of his files containing code for switching controllers from Xbox to PlayStation in the menu.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
