immersive camera
🎮 **Immersive Camera Module** - Brings a more character-friendly perspective experience to "Sekiro"!
---
✨ Module Features
🌟 **Two versions available**:
- **Immersive Combat Edition**: overall lower camera position
- **High Angle Version**: Slightly higher camera position, suitable for players who don't want their characters to take up too much screen space
🎯 Problem Solving
In the original game, locking the camera forced a 30-degree downward tilt, which broke immersion and made you always look down at the wolf. While I haven't found a way to reduce this angle, it would be a nice fix by lowering the camera position.

⚠️ Notes
- **Note to Keyboard Users**: There may be a jump in perspective when using the keyboard as there are only 8 directions.
- **Controller Users**: The experience is completely normal
- Don't request specific angle settings, I'll teach you how to customize them at the end of the description
🔧 Custom settings
Want to adjust the camera angle? Follow these steps:
- **Make sure modengine is installed**
- Download and open the DSParamEditor tool
- Open the gameparam.parambnd.dcx file in it
- Find the camera param in the left panel, click on line 0, and edit the x, y, z coordinates in the right panel (my settings are 0.5 1.3 0.2)
- Find LockCamParam in the left panel, click on row 0, and edit CamDistTarget in the right panel, which will change the outdoor zoom
💡 Usage suggestions
Choose the version that suits your playstyle:
- Pursuit of ultimate immersion → Immersive combat version
- Need better field of view → High viewing angle version
Enjoy a combat experience that is closer to your character! 🚀
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
