About this mod Author’s original text
Death Notices
Death announcements with a questionable bedside manner. Messages vary with the cause,
with extra commentary for repeat visitors.
- Alex unsuccessfully disputed the charges. Courtesy of police.
- Sam discovered friendly fire isn't. Courtesy of Riley.
- Jordan has been banned from the alive casino.
Casino
Casino reports moved out in 0.4. Casino Ledger
tracks casino profit and loss and shows it on screen.
Notices appear at the top centre of the screen, wrap to show the whole message, and last
seven seconds.
Moving the notices
Each player can move the feed from the Mods tab of the game's settings screen (added by
Mod Settings, installed automatically):
notice position, side margin and top or bottom margin. The feed moves as you change them. The
same values live in UserData/MelonPreferences.cfg:
[DeathNotices]
position = "TopCenter"
margin_x = 24.0
margin_y = 72.0
position is TopLeft, TopCenter, TopRight, BottomLeft, BottomCenter or BottomRight.
Margins are distances from the screen edge on a 1920x1080 layout; margin_x is ignored when
centred. Bottom positions stack upward.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- Most mods rely on the game's mod loader — the usual route is a community mod manager (such as r2modman): pick this game, install, and it handles the loader and dependencies.
- For a manual install, put the mod files into the matching Mod / plugins folder inside the game directory.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; mods with listed dependencies need those installed as well.
Install locations vary a lot between mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
Install these first, or the mod will not work:
