Custom Loading Screens
Use your own custom images to replace the in-game loading screens! Add your images to a designated folder (customizable), and the mod will randomly load an image from that folder every time you see a loading screen.Cross-compatible with both IL2CPP (main branch) and Mono (alternate beta branch)!
Supported Game Versions
- v0.4.6f11 (Gamepad Support update)
Requirements
- MelonLoader v0.7.0
- S1API Forked by ifBars v3.1.9+
Installation
- Make sure you have the requirements listed above.
- Download and install Mod Manager.
- If you want to install manually, download and extract the CustomLoadingScreens.dll file into your game's mod directory, e.g. C:\Program Files\Steam\Steamapps\common\Schedule 1\Mods
- Start the game! The mod will create folders for your images in the following location:\...Schedule 1\User Data\CustomLoadingScreens
- Add your custom images to either the BackgroundImages or TutorialBackgroundImages folders (only.JPG,.JPEG, and.PNG files are currently supported).
- If the game is still running, trigger a loading screen by loading a saved game, or quitting to the main menu. Your custom images should now be overriding the defaults!

This mod uses MelonPreferences-style configuration settings. These settings are created and saved in the following file:\...Schedule 1\User Data\MelonPreferences.cfg

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- Most mods rely on the game's mod loader — the usual route is a community mod manager (such as r2modman): pick this game, install, and it handles the loader and dependencies.
- For a manual install, put the mod files into the matching Mod / plugins folder inside the game directory.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; mods with listed dependencies need those installed as well.
Install locations vary a lot between mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
Install these first, or the mod will not work:
