AutoWater

AutoWater is a quality-of-life mod for _Schedule I_ that automatically activates nearby sprinklers when nearby pots are low on water.

Created by Michiyo, this mod helps automate your garden management without constant manual watering.

💡 Features

  • 🌱 Automatically waters pots that fall below 30% water level
  • 🚿 Uses in-game sprinklers intelligently, only when needed
  • 🧠 Safe logic — only activates sprinklers with valid pots that contain soil
  • ⚙️ Configurable check interval and water threshold via MelonPreferences

⚙️ Configuration

AutoWater writes settings to your MelonPreferences.cfg under [AutoWater].

Here’s what it looks like:

[AutoWater]

WaterThreshold = 0.3 # Water pots when they fall below this percentage. Default is 0.3 (30%)

CheckInterval = 10.0 # Time (in seconds) between sprinkler checks

You can safely modify these values while the game is not running.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. Most mods rely on the game's mod loader — the usual route is a community mod manager (such as r2modman): pick this game, install, and it handles the loader and dependencies.
  3. For a manual install, put the mod files into the matching Mod / plugins folder inside the game directory.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; mods with listed dependencies need those installed as well.

Install locations vary a lot between mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
