Install
Clone the repo and install dependencies:
git clone
cd DeckSmith
npm install
or install a prebuilt release.
Setup
DeckSmith requires the.NET SDK to be installed and certain Unity assemblies and mod dependencies to be referenced to successfully build/export your mod. I recommend the following steps:
- Install the.NET SDK
- Create a Libs folder somewhere memorable, but out of the way.
- Copy the following files from ${ROUNDS_INSTALL_DIR}/Rounds_Data/Managed to your Libs folder:
- Assembly-CSharp.dll
- UnityEngine.dll
- UnityEngine.CoreModule.dll
- Move the BepInEx assemblies to your Libs folder:
- Open r2modman or Mod Manager, select one of your ROUNDS profiles
- Open Settings > Locations and click "Browse profile folder"
- Inside you will see a folder called BepInEx, open it, then open the core folder within it
- Copy 0Harmony.dll and BepInEx.dll into your Libs folder
- Download UnboundLib and copy UnboundLib.dll to your Libs folder.
- Download ModsPlus and copy ModsPlus.dll to your Libs folder.
- Download ModdingUtils and copy ModdingUtils.dll to your Libs folder.
- Download DeckSmithUtil and copy DeckSmithUtil.dll to your Libs folder.
- Launch DeckSmith and configure your Libs folder path as the "Library Folder" under Mod Configuration
- Start creating!
Ultimately the contents of your Libs folder should look like this:
Starting Development
Start the app in the dev environment:
npm start
Packaging for Production
To package apps for the local platform:
npm run package
Install & use Install: BepInEx plugin
- The archive from playbuff is the mod itself — usually a BepInEx plugin (a .dll or a plugin folder once unzipped).
- Recommended: use a community mod manager (such as r2modman) — pick this game, import the mod, and the manager sets up BepInEx and its dependencies for you.
- Manual route: install the BepInEx loader in the game folder, then drop the unzipped .dll or plugin folder into BepInEx/plugins/.
- Launch the game — the BepInEx console logs every plugin it loads; seeing this mod in the log means it is installed.
Mods with listed dependencies need those installed too, or they will not load. Options are usually changed in-game or in the plugin's config file.
