Trigger Railgunner
An unofficial Trigger (Zenless Zone Zero) skin for Railgunner, with her own rifle, animations, effects and interface.
Select it in the lobby: Railgunner → Loadout → Skin → Trigger (ZZZ).
Features
Model and animation
- Custom model and rifle: Trigger's body and sniper rifle, driven by Railgunner's own animations, with a two-handed grip, and hair and cape physics (cloth-like cape, ponytail that drapes on the back) that collide with the body.
- Active reload gesture: during the active reload, the left hand moves under the rifle's cell housing in time with the reload bar. Hit the window and she slaps it in with a small rifle kick. Miss and her hand slips off, then seats it slowly when the bar ends.
- Animated menu pose: an artwork-inspired pose on the character select screen with a natural idle (breathing, weight shift, head looking around). Every 9 to 14 seconds she lifts her rifle and inspects it, like her idle in Zenless Zone Zero.
- Clean silhouette: item and equipment displays are hidden on Trigger, since they are placed for Railgunner's skeleton.
Effects
- Overheating rifle: while the special (R) charges, the barrel, rail blade and vents heat up from dull red to orange to white-hot and throw sparks. On the shot, a sky-blue flash, then the rifle vents steam and cools down.
- Sky-blue shots: pistol, scoped shots and Supercharge (tracers, impacts, muzzle flash, charge-up) in an electric blue with a slight white gradient. Cryocharge keeps its ice color.
- Sky-blue mines: the red glow of the mines and their explosions turns blue.
Interface
- TARGET ELIMINATED: a small Zenless Zone Zero style banner (top left) when a scoped or special shot kills an enemy through its weak point, with an X2, X3 counter for kills in quick succession.
- Animated Trigger scope: a custom gold scope with a short, smooth opening (about 0.15 s) built for constant use, and a kick with orange rays on every shot.
- Trigger weak point markers: weak points in the scope are shown as Trigger triangles that lock on with a short animation.
- Trigger special gauges: the special (R) charging, charged and rebooting gauges redrawn in the scope's style, same size and place as the originals.
- ZZZ-style reload bar: metal end caps, a sky-blue progress fill and an orange perfect window, fully animated.
- Boosted shot indicator: redrawn in the skin's style with an energy icon in orange and pale gold.
- Trigger crosshair: Railgunner's normal crosshair in the scope's palette, with labels in a Zenless Zone Zero style font (Tektur, SIL Open Font License).
- Trigger UI: portraits and gold character UI.
Every change only applies to players using the Trigger skin. Other players and other skins are untouched.

Install & use Install: BepInEx plugin
- The archive from playbuff is the mod itself — usually a BepInEx plugin (a .dll or a plugin folder once unzipped).
- Recommended: use a community mod manager (such as r2modman) — pick this game, import the mod, and the manager sets up BepInEx and its dependencies for you.
- Manual route: install the BepInEx loader in the game folder, then drop the unzipped .dll or plugin folder into BepInEx/plugins/.
- Launch the game — the BepInEx console logs every plugin it loads; seeing this mod in the log means it is installed.
Mods with listed dependencies need those installed too, or they will not load. Options are usually changed in-game or in the plugin's config file.
Install these first, or the mod will not work:
