SlipStream

v1.0.19·Updated 2026-09-06

SlipStream. F1 debug kit for items, god, noclip, ESP, spawns, and stages — idle FPS cost near zero.

About this mod Author’s original text

SlipStream

A lightweight Risk of Rain 2 debug kit that functions similar to Aerolt — items, god mode, noclip, ESP, spawns, teleporter tools, lobby controls

I found while having Aerolt downloaded, whether I opened the menu or not, my friends and I would lose up to 100fps. I took it upon myself to find out why and found that Aerolt keeps a Unity UI canvas, asset bundle, HUD hook, and chat client alive for the whole run. That is why a 140 FPS session can fall to ~40 with the menu closed. SlipStream removes these things, while allowing all toggled options or changes made inside the menu active until deselected

Closed menu + no toggles = one keybind check per frame.

Not affiliated with Aerolt / Lodington. Independent rewrite aimed at sandbox testing and item experiments. Or use with friends. Not meant to infrindge upon or insult Aerolt in anyway.

How SlipStream works

F1 opens and closes the menu (rebind in BepInEx/config/dev.slipstream.cfg). The hardware cursor appears; WASD and look stay live. Clicks only go to the menu while the pointer is over the window — click the world and you still shoot.

Each copy of SlipStream is independent. Your cousin’s menu does not control your character, and yours does not control theirs. Both of you need SlipStream installed.

  • God mode, infinite sprint, no skill cooldown, noclip, and aimbot only affect the person who toggles them. A client cannot turn these on for the host. In a match, the client tells the host “apply this to my body” so damage protection sticks; the host’s own toggles stay on the host.
  • Items are an alphabetical icon grid. Click one to open Take (always you) or Give (hover for the other lobby players, A–Z). Count starts at 1 and goes to 999. Host and client can both send gifts.
  • Equipment, buffs, money, Void Fields coins, lunar coins, and revive act on whoever is selected as the gift target (Player tab / Lobby tab). Both of you need SlipStream installed.
  • Skins only list the body you are playing. A swap applies in-run and is pushed so everyone in the match can see it.
  • Team is per player. Same team deals no damage to you (beetles will not hurt Monster team). A different team, including another player, deals full damage.
  • Spawn as (Player tab) works for host and client. The client asks the host to change your body.
  • ESP is a local overlay. Other players do not see your boxes.
  • Spawn / stage / lobby kick-ban are host tools. They change the real match.

Noclip: WASD + mouse aim, Shift faster, Space up, Ctrl down.

Install (r2modman)

  • Install r2modman or Mod Manager.
  • Create a Risk of Rain 2 profile.
  • Import SlipStream.zip, or drop the zip onto the manager.
  • The only hard dependency is BepInExPack.

The package appears as SlipStream and r2modman.

Manual install: extract so SlipStream.dll lands in BepInEx/plugins. If you still have Best_RoR2_Mod_Menu.dll in that folder, delete it so both copies are not loaded.

After importing, the BepInEx log must say Loading [SlipStream 1.0.19]. If it still says 1.0.18 or earlier, r2modman is loading an old DLL — disable/delete the old SlipStream package and import this zip again.

Build from source

You need the.NET 8 SDK. Game assemblies are not required — the plugin binds to RoR2 at runtime.

dotnet build src/Slipstream/Slipstream.csproj -c Release./scripts/pack.sh

SlipStream.zip (repo root) is the package (manifest, README, 256×256 icon, plugin DLL). Each release overwrites that same file; the version number is inside the zip (manifest.json, README, CHANGELOG).

Upload it.io → Upload → Risk of Rain 2. The team name on your account becomes the package namespace (YourTeam-SlipStream).

Performance notes

| State | Work per frame |

| --- | --- |

| Menu closed, all toggles off | GetKeyDown for F1 |

| God mode | Harmony prefix on damage with a bool check; also sets vanilla godMode |

| Noclip / infinite skills / aimbot | Only while that toggle is on |

Install & use Install: BepInEx plugin

  1. The archive from playbuff is the mod itself — usually a BepInEx plugin (a .dll or a plugin folder once unzipped).
  2. Recommended: use a community mod manager (such as r2modman) — pick this game, import the mod, and the manager sets up BepInEx and its dependencies for you.
  3. Manual route: install the BepInEx loader in the game folder, then drop the unzipped .dll or plugin folder into BepInEx/plugins/.
  4. Launch the game — the BepInEx console logs every plugin it loads; seeing this mod in the log means it is installed.

Mods with listed dependencies need those installed too, or they will not load. Options are usually changed in-game or in the plugin's config file.
