SeekerOmniSojourn
Gives Seeker's Sojourn aim-relative omnidirectional movement and lets it hover when no movement input is held.
About this mod Author’s original text
Seeker Omni Sojourn
Gives Seeker's Sojourn aim-relative omnidirectional movement instead of forcing constant forward travel.
Controls
- No movement input: hover in place.
- W: move toward the crosshair, including upward/downward aim.
- S: move directly away from the crosshair.
- A / D: strafe left/right relative to the direction you are aiming.
- Diagonals: combine normally without increasing top speed.
The mod keeps Sojourn's own current movement speed and replaces only the movement direction after the vanilla movement update.
Requirements
- Risk of Rain 2
- Seekers of the Storm (Seeker)
- BepInExPack
No R2API dependency is required.
Compatibility
Do not use this together with another mod that rewrites Sojourn movement, such as:
- SojournStopGo
- SeekerTweaks with Directional Input Movement Sojourn enabled
Multiple mods patching the same Sojourn movement routine may overwrite each other's velocity changes and cause inconsistent movement.
AI disclosure
Significant portions of this mod's code and packaging were created with assistance from hatGPT.
Originally inspired by SojournStopGo by BorkTeam after encountering buggy movement behavior. This package does not redistribute that mod's DLL or other package files.
Install & use Install: BepInEx plugin
- The archive from playbuff is the mod itself — usually a BepInEx plugin (a .dll or a plugin folder once unzipped).
- Recommended: use a community mod manager (such as r2modman) — pick this game, import the mod, and the manager sets up BepInEx and its dependencies for you.
- Manual route: install the BepInEx loader in the game folder, then drop the unzipped .dll or plugin folder into BepInEx/plugins/.
- Launch the game — the BepInEx console logs every plugin it loads; seeing this mod in the log means it is installed.
Mods with listed dependencies need those installed too, or they will not load. Options are usually changed in-game or in the plugin's config file.
Install these first, or the mod will not work:
