Large-library loading, virtualized scrolling, and interface fixes.

Risk of Music 1.0.1
Bug-fix update
What's new in 1.0.1
- Music files are scanned in the background, so opening the menu does not wait for the entire library to load.
- Tracks appear in small batches, and only visible rows are created for the list. This keeps large libraries responsive.
- The track list now supports mouse-wheel scrolling and a draggable scrollbar, with a dedicated gutter beside the track controls.
- Improved track list appearance and scrolling behavior.
- Switching between All Tracks and Favorites no longer rebuilds hundreds of UI rows.
- Localized controls and the delete confirmation have improved sizing to avoid crowding.
Risk of Music adds a custom MP3 player to the Risk of Rain 2 pause menu. Its interface follows the game's menu style and uses the active game language when available.
Music library
- Browse every detected track or switch to Favorites.
- Search tracks by name.
- Mark tracks as favorites; the list is saved between game sessions.
- Delete an MP3 from disk after confirming the action.
- Clear the search field or view a helpful empty state when the library, favorites, or search results are empty.
Playback
- Play a track directly from the list.
- Shuffle selects tracks in random order; Previous and Next follow listening history while Shuffle is on.
- Repeat loops the current track when enabled. With Repeat off, a finished track stops instead of looping.
- The default Previous and Next keys are Z and X; both can be changed in the music menu.
- Playback pauses and resumes with the game. Volume follows the game's Music and Master volume settings and is capped at 20% by default.
Music folder
Put.mp3 files directly in the mod's Music folder. Subfolders and other audio formats are not scanned. The library is scanned when the game starts and whenever the music menu opens.
Languages
The interface follows the in-game language when supported: English, Russian, German, French, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, Japanese, Korean, Turkish, and Chinese. Other languages use English.
Known issue
- Track rows may display a light outline around their edges. This is purely visual and does not affect music playback or other functionality.
Requires Risk of Rain 2 and BepInExPack 5.4.2117 or newer.

Install & use Install: BepInEx plugin
- The archive from playbuff is the mod itself — usually a BepInEx plugin (a .dll or a plugin folder once unzipped).
- Recommended: use a community mod manager (such as r2modman) — pick this game, import the mod, and the manager sets up BepInEx and its dependencies for you.
- Manual route: install the BepInEx loader in the game folder, then drop the unzipped .dll or plugin folder into BepInEx/plugins/.
- Launch the game — the BepInEx console logs every plugin it loads; seeing this mod in the log means it is installed.
Mods with listed dependencies need those installed too, or they will not load. Options are usually changed in-game or in the plugin's config file.
Install these first, or the mod will not work:
