Riftbroken Update
A modpack to fill the Void of SOTS while trying to replicate a vanilla update
About this mod Author’s original text
Hello and welcome to the Riftbroken Modpack!
Riftseeker is a "Custom" update that aims to fill the void of SoTS while also revamping the base game overall; and trying to keep a vanilla feel
[THIS MOD ALSO HAS A STORY!!:D]
[So enjoy reading:D]
= =
After an experiment gone wrong with a young scientist named 'Rifter' he opened up a portal, just as he wanted to. Soon after that he ended up accidently warping himself to
Petrichor V...though he wasn't alone in the little perdicerment he got himself into. His rifts had opened up and warped a few more unforntiante souls to Petrichor V; unforntantly most of them got lost in transit.
- -
Rifter is a postional based survivor originating from a uknown planet. He uses his portals, rifts, and gateways that he makes to help out [and he prays that he doesnt cause another rift event]
- -
Executioner orginates from CELL SI "Starstorm II", though he doesnt seem phased that he was warped to Petrichor V, as he began shooting and killing almost everything. Should i mention this man only has a gun and a axe and hes causing all this damage?
- -
Ranger seems to be enjoying exploring the world of Petrichor V, they glady came aboard to help with our missions; though they keep on asking about someone that we suspect was lost in transit on the way here. Thier origin planet is Cell XIIVI "Sandstorm
Many other survivors were lost in transit on the way here; we are hoping to tringulate thier location and attempt to recruite them to help on our missions.
==
Ever since the rift event happened, the storms on Petrichor V have worsened in certian spots; making ceartian area's threat levels sky rocket beyond the "Monsoon" level.
We have codenamed these areas
- TYPHOON -
Typhoon level areas appear where Planet "Starstorm II" gateways open, this threat level is recommended for Veterans and not to be taken lightly.
- DELUDGE -
Deludge level areas are mysterious and uknown; as there is a mysterious signal drawing forces into these ares; easier than typhoon but do not take lightly.
- CALYPSO -
Calypso level areas are simallar to the Deludge level areas; except that when the forces enter this area; they are sent into a immidiate frenzy; do not take these areas lightly.
- CHARYBDIS -
Charybdis level areas are where the signal mixes in with the aftermaths of the rifts; causing the forces to almost become feral; and stronger. It has been recorded when we send scouting
groups into these areas they feel weaker; take these missions with caution.
- TEMPEST -
Tempest level areas are one of the two levels only permited to Veterans and Special Forces. Massive Threats and Petrichor V forces loose whats left of them as they even begin to destroy the
area the signal leads them too; anyone lower level or underskilled are not permited to enter these areas; as this is a effect of a CHARYBDIS mission being left unattented for more than 72 hours.
- ARMAGEDDION -
[THIS THREAT LEVEL HAS BEEN MARKED AS CLASSIFIED FOR ONLY THE CAPTIANS EYES TO SEE; DO NOT LET ANYONE ELSE BUT SPECIAL FORCES INTO THESE AREAS]
==
Readings indicate that rifts are bringing in forces from the future and past missions that the survivors had gone on; even though these forces cannot be reconized completly logs from
a uknown source have been giving us info on who they are; the ones sending us these logs are currently unkown.
= =
All of that aside though; this modpack reworks the Mythrix & False Son fight and improves them, includes a ton of more items and "Mirroed & True" artifacts; and a bunch more.

All credits go to the original mod creators who's mods are in this modpack; all credit goes to them.
I hope you enjoy this modpack I thrown together and i'll make a full story for this 'update' soon!:D
Install & use Install: BepInEx plugin
- The archive from playbuff is the mod itself — usually a BepInEx plugin (a .dll or a plugin folder once unzipped).
- Recommended: use a community mod manager (such as r2modman) — pick this game, import the mod, and the manager sets up BepInEx and its dependencies for you.
- Manual route: install the BepInEx loader in the game folder, then drop the unzipped .dll or plugin folder into BepInEx/plugins/.
- Launch the game — the BepInEx console logs every plugin it loads; seeing this mod in the log means it is installed.
Mods with listed dependencies need those installed too, or they will not load. Options are usually changed in-game or in the plugin's config file.
Install these first, or the mod will not work:
