NewtConfig
Overview
NewtConfig is a simple mod which allows you to adjust how often Newt Altars and blue (bazaar) portals appear, as well as a few other related details. Spawn a bazaar portal after every stage, disable the guaranteed Newt Altars on stages that have them, or prevent access to the bazaar entirely. All options are explained and controlled via the config file.
Installation
If you have R2modman installed, click "Install with Mod Manager" above or install through the R2modman mod browser. To install manually, ensure you have installed the latest BepInEx, then extract NewtConfig.dll to Risk of Rain 2\BepInEx\plugins.
Issues
Newt Altar spawn chance is not networked correctly. The host may not see the same altars as non-hosts.

Install & use Install: BepInEx plugin
- The archive from playbuff is the mod itself — usually a BepInEx plugin (a .dll or a plugin folder once unzipped).
- Recommended: use a community mod manager (such as r2modman) — pick this game, import the mod, and the manager sets up BepInEx and its dependencies for you.
- Manual route: install the BepInEx loader in the game folder, then drop the unzipped .dll or plugin folder into BepInEx/plugins/.
- Launch the game — the BepInEx console logs every plugin it loads; seeing this mod in the log means it is installed.
Mods with listed dependencies need those installed too, or they will not load. Options are usually changed in-game or in the plugin's config file.
Install these first, or the mod will not work:
