LookingGlassCommandFix
Compatibility fix for LookingGlass and CommandQueueExtended that prevents Command essence selections from failing when LookingGlass remaps an invalid index.
About this mod Author’s original text
LookingGlass Command Fix
A small compatibility mod for Risk of Rain 2 that fixes a conflict between LookingGlass and CommandQueueExtended.
What it fixes
Some players using LookingGlass with CommandQueueExtended can run into an issue where Command essence selections fail instead of awarding an item.
This mod patches LookingGlass's Command selection handling so that if its remapped index is invalid or stale, it safely falls back to the original Command picker index instead of failing.
Intended use
This mod is for players using:
- LookingGlass
- CommandQueueExtended
If you are not using both, this mod is probably unnecessary.
Dependencies
This mod requires:
- BepInExPack
- LookingGlass
- CommandQueueExtended
When installed through Mod Manager or r2modman, these should install automatically.
Installation
Mod Manager

Notes
- This mod is meant to be a lightweight compatibility fix.
- It does not replace LookingGlass or CommandQueueExtended.
- It should be safe to remove if either upstream mod fixes the issue.

Install & use Install: BepInEx plugin
- The archive from playbuff is the mod itself — usually a BepInEx plugin (a .dll or a plugin folder once unzipped).
- Recommended: use a community mod manager (such as r2modman) — pick this game, import the mod, and the manager sets up BepInEx and its dependencies for you.
- Manual route: install the BepInEx loader in the game folder, then drop the unzipped .dll or plugin folder into BepInEx/plugins/.
- Launch the game — the BepInEx console logs every plugin it loads; seeing this mod in the log means it is installed.
Mods with listed dependencies need those installed too, or they will not load. Options are usually changed in-game or in the plugin's config file.
Install these first, or the mod will not work:
