How does it work?
Every item is internally ranked using a tier list. If you increase the item luck, items higher on the tier list will be more likely to spawn. If you decrease the item luck, items lower on the tier list will be more likely to spawn.
You can configure the item luck and the item ranks in the settings (Settings > Mod options > ItemLuck)
What is the default tier list?
The tier list is defined here.
Disclaimer:
The default tier list not perfect. It is based on my experience as an E8 player with ~500 hours who doesn't play with lunar items. Feel free to change it in the settings.
Does the mod work with modded items?
Yes. They will have the rank Unspecified by default. You can change the rank in the settings.
Install & use Install: BepInEx plugin
- The archive from playbuff is the mod itself — usually a BepInEx plugin (a .dll or a plugin folder once unzipped).
- Recommended: use a community mod manager (such as r2modman) — pick this game, import the mod, and the manager sets up BepInEx and its dependencies for you.
- Manual route: install the BepInEx loader in the game folder, then drop the unzipped .dll or plugin folder into BepInEx/plugins/.
- Launch the game — the BepInEx console logs every plugin it loads; seeing this mod in the log means it is installed.
Mods with listed dependencies need those installed too, or they will not load. Options are usually changed in-game or in the plugin's config file.
