About this mod Author’s original text
Blacklist items, equipment, and printers. Modify drop rates of specific pickups. Can save default blacklist in config file. Fixes several vanilla bugs related to blacklists.
Client-side changes:
- Reveals the hidden item rulebook in pregame lobby
- A config to set the default item rules when starting the game
- Fixes equipment and drone rules not have a disabled icon
- Tooltips are now colored and have a proper description
- Vote grid will scale its size with item count to easily fit into the screen
Server-side changes:
- Teleporter yellow item rewards now use blacklist
- Bosses that have their item blacklisted instead drop a random available boss item when Trophy Hunted
- Added console commands to change list during a run:
blacklist {pickup name} whitelist {pickup name}
whitelistprinter {item name} blacklistprinter {item name}
- doing the above commands without arguments will instead print its list to the console
- Fixes vanilla not properly updating the item-list mid-run
- Fixes explicit pickup tables such as cleansing pool and band quest not using blacklist
- Fixes alloyed crafting not using blacklist
Server-side features:
- Blacklisting items only from printers
- Changing the drop rate of specific pickups
- Fix Halcyon shrines and geodes only dropping SotS items
Note that host does not need the mod for rulebook to work. Reload config in-game with either itemblacklist_reloadconfig or RiskOfOptions.
Install & use Install: BepInEx plugin
- The archive from playbuff is the mod itself — usually a BepInEx plugin (a .dll or a plugin folder once unzipped).
- Recommended: use a community mod manager (such as r2modman) — pick this game, import the mod, and the manager sets up BepInEx and its dependencies for you.
- Manual route: install the BepInEx loader in the game folder, then drop the unzipped .dll or plugin folder into BepInEx/plugins/.
- Launch the game — the BepInEx console logs every plugin it loads; seeing this mod in the log means it is installed.
Mods with listed dependencies need those installed too, or they will not load. Options are usually changed in-game or in the plugin's config file.
Install these first, or the mod will not work:
