Fixes
- Multiplayer spawn
- Coin counter / visuals
- Shop purchases with ephemeral coins
- ProperSave coin persistence for host and clients
- After ProperSave load, clients receive restored balances (not stuck at 0 while the host has coins)
- Fresh runs start at 0 after a prior ProperSave session
Version gate
Applies on Ephemeral Coins 2.3.7 and older.
Does nothing on versions after 2.3.7.
Install
- Install Ephemeral Coins and this patch in the same profile.
- Everyone in the lobby should use the same patch version while it is active.
- ProperSave is optional; coin save/load only runs if ProperSave is installed.
Changelog
1.0.1
- Multiplayer spawn, coin counter, shop affordability, and ProperSave persistence
- Reliable ephemeral coin visuals (name / mesh / material)
- Safer runtime access for RoR2 members that GameLibs publicize only at compile time
- ProperSave multiplayer: restore host balances, rebind players by name when NetworkUserId shape differs, and sync full coin storage to clients
- Ignore load-time award/deduct replays; re-apply saved snapshot through stage start
- Clear restored state on run end so the next fresh run starts at 0 coins
Install & use Install: BepInEx plugin
- The archive from playbuff is the mod itself — usually a BepInEx plugin (a .dll or a plugin folder once unzipped).
- Recommended: use a community mod manager (such as r2modman) — pick this game, import the mod, and the manager sets up BepInEx and its dependencies for you.
- Manual route: install the BepInEx loader in the game folder, then drop the unzipped .dll or plugin folder into BepInEx/plugins/.
- Launch the game — the BepInEx console logs every plugin it loads; seeing this mod in the log means it is installed.
Mods with listed dependencies need those installed too, or they will not load. Options are usually changed in-game or in the plugin's config file.
Install these first, or the mod will not work:
