Do you have a honourable friend group who respects each others dibs? Neither do I!
Defend Items from Being Stolen (DIBS) is the perfect way to keep your friend group intact. No longer will you call dibs on an chest, only for Max to steal it 2 seconds later and blame it on Discord delay.
Usage
To place dibs on an object, all you need to do is ping it. You will hear a locking sound, and the object will be surrounded by tendrils. There are 4 rules that follow:
- Only you can purchase the object that you have dibs on
- You cannot have dibs on more that one object at once
- Your dibs will be cleared once you have purchased the object
- You cannot purchase anything else until you have cleared your dibs
If something goes spectacularly wrong, you can type undibs in chat and all of the dibs will be cleared. Just know that if you do this to get a better item, you are a bad person.
Install & use Install: BepInEx plugin
- The archive from playbuff is the mod itself — usually a BepInEx plugin (a .dll or a plugin folder once unzipped).
- Recommended: use a community mod manager (such as r2modman) — pick this game, import the mod, and the manager sets up BepInEx and its dependencies for you.
- Manual route: install the BepInEx loader in the game folder, then drop the unzipped .dll or plugin folder into BepInEx/plugins/.
- Launch the game — the BepInEx console logs every plugin it loads; seeing this mod in the log means it is installed.
Mods with listed dependencies need those installed too, or they will not load. Options are usually changed in-game or in the plugin's config file.
