CorpseBloomReborn updated for Hallowed Concept: reserve-based Corpsebloom with a working reserve bar.

About this mod Author’s original text

CorpseBloomRebornHC

By Serestielle. A Hallowed Concept-compatible fork of CorpseBloomReborn by TPDespair (William758).

Corpsebloom grants a percentage of maximum health as reserve. Healing is stored in the reserve and heals you over time. All config options from CorpseBloomReborn are kept with the same names and defaults.

Changes from CorpseBloomReborn 1.4.0

  • The Heal hook is registered with a high priority, so it is always the outermost hook. The old version re-hooked one second after each run started (and on Diluvian), which left a window where other mods' healing multipliers applied twice.
  • Reserve state lives in a component on the body. The old version used a netId dictionary that could throw inside CharacterBody.OnDestroy.
  • Heals flagged BypassConvertHealing (Hallowed Concept regainable health, Lil Reaper) skip the reserve. If they went through it, they would lose the flag and heal-conversion items would swallow them.
  • The reserve bar is anchored inside the health bar's own bar container. It follows resizes, health-based bar width, HUD scale and ally card indents, and it appears on every health bar, including ally cards and overhead bars.
  • Item text is set through Language.SetStringByToken instead of hooking Language.GetString.

Do not run it at the same time as the original CorpseBloomReborn. BepInEx will refuse to load this mod if the original is present.

Install & use Install: BepInEx plugin

  1. The archive from playbuff is the mod itself — usually a BepInEx plugin (a .dll or a plugin folder once unzipped).
  2. Recommended: use a community mod manager (such as r2modman) — pick this game, import the mod, and the manager sets up BepInEx and its dependencies for you.
  3. Manual route: install the BepInEx loader in the game folder, then drop the unzipped .dll or plugin folder into BepInEx/plugins/.
  4. Launch the game — the BepInEx console logs every plugin it loads; seeing this mod in the log means it is installed.

Mods with listed dependencies need those installed too, or they will not load. Options are usually changed in-game or in the plugin's config file.
