ClearSkies

v1.1.0·Updated 2023-08-21

Adds a single difficulty with no time scaling: Clear Skies. Perfect for playing as a Beetle.

About this mod Author’s original text

This mod adds only one new thing, two difficulties called "Clear Skies" and "Cloudy" respectively

They're intended to be modes even easier than Drizzle, for cases where the game is going to be irrationally hard otherwise (I.e. playing as a beetle or having your stats lowered to oblivion), or if you want to play with your child or younger sibling who finds themselves all too prone to Hopoo's callous "humor".

The difficulties are as follows:

Clear Skies>Player Health Regeneration: +50%

Player Damage Reduction: +56%*

Difficulty Scaling: -100%

Elites do not spawn

Cloudy>Player Health Regeneration: +50%

Player Damage Reduction: +56%*

Difficulty Scaling: -75%

These are technically incorrect, but they're incorrect in consistency with the way Drizzle has stated it. The technical reason: DrizzlePlayerHelper grants the player 70 armor, which is about* ~40%, and by that same math stacking two of them grant about ~56%.

Install & use Install: BepInEx plugin

  1. The archive from playbuff is the mod itself — usually a BepInEx plugin (a .dll or a plugin folder once unzipped).
  2. Recommended: use a community mod manager (such as r2modman) — pick this game, import the mod, and the manager sets up BepInEx and its dependencies for you.
  3. Manual route: install the BepInEx loader in the game folder, then drop the unzipped .dll or plugin folder into BepInEx/plugins/.
  4. Launch the game — the BepInEx console logs every plugin it loads; seeing this mod in the log means it is installed.

Mods with listed dependencies need those installed too, or they will not load. Options are usually changed in-game or in the plugin's config file.
