CaptainDiabloTimer
Client-side countdown, visual warning and optional beeps for Captain's OGM-72 DIABLO Strike.
About this mod Author’s original text
Captain Diablo Timer
A client-side only countdown and warning for Captain's OGM-72 DIABLO Strike.
What it does
- Starts a 20-second timer only after the local player's Diablo Strike projectile has successfully fired.
- Shows a centered countdown without changing the skill, projectile, damage or cooldown.
- Turns the timer red and pulses during the last five seconds.
- Plays optional countdown beeps and an impact beep generated locally at runtime.
- Tracks multiple simultaneous strikes (for example, with extra utility stocks).
- Works without requiring other players to install it.
Configuration
Open the r2modman profile's Config editor and edit:
com.trynlord.captain-diablo-timer.cfg
You can change the timer duration, warning window, label, font size, screen position,
number of visible timers, beep volume and whether visual/audio warnings are enabled.
The default 20-second delay matches vanilla Diablo Strike. If another mod changes the
actual strike delay, set StrikeDelaySeconds to the same value.
Compatibility
This mod lets the vanilla projectile fire call complete and then creates local UI/audio only
for Captain's confirmed Diablo Strike cast. It does not alter targeting or projectile setup,
sends no network messages and changes no gameplay values, so vanilla friends do not need it.
Installation
Install through r2modman Mod Manager with dependencies.

Install & use Install: BepInEx plugin
- The archive from playbuff is the mod itself — usually a BepInEx plugin (a .dll or a plugin folder once unzipped).
- Recommended: use a community mod manager (such as r2modman) — pick this game, import the mod, and the manager sets up BepInEx and its dependencies for you.
- Manual route: install the BepInEx loader in the game folder, then drop the unzipped .dll or plugin folder into BepInEx/plugins/.
- Launch the game — the BepInEx console logs every plugin it loads; seeing this mod in the log means it is installed.
Mods with listed dependencies need those installed too, or they will not load. Options are usually changed in-game or in the plugin's config file.
Install these first, or the mod will not work:
