About this mod Author’s original text

Bibi Survivor

Early release · 0.3.2 · Windows PC

A mobile ranged survivor who keeps his composure while the situation escalates.

Black suit, blue tie, swept silver hair, and a deliberately pixelated likeness.

The kit

| Skill | What it does |

| --- | --- |

| Goy Beam · Primary | Hold for a blue-white palm laser. Its damage ramps up, attack speed adds real hits, and brief interruptions preserve charge. |

| Call Forwarding · Secondary | Attach a ringing beeper. It bursts four times and hops between enemies. Direct beam hits bring its next burst forward. A lone boss keeps the call. |

| Emergency Press Conference · Utility | Launch upward and forward, leaving a podium hologram to distract nearby ordinary enemies. |

| Red Line: Bunker Buster · Special | Hold to aim at a surface or airborne enemy; release to confirm. A delayed bomb delivers one heavy hit, followed by lingering dust. You can move and fire while aiming. |

| Never Steps Down · Passive | Hold Jump while beaming in the air to slow your descent. Release Jump to fall normally. |

Every beeper and strike is independent. Backup Magazines allow multiple calls;

Hardlight Afterburner adds launches; Lysate Cells add overlapping strikes. Attack

speed builds emphasize the beam and call acceleration. Heavy-hit builds emphasize

the bunker buster and Bands.

The aim is readable, responsive combat: brief casting gestures, a sustained palm

pose, directional movement animations, clear physical pagers, and a red countdown

around the strike point. The bomber is cosmetic, so the special works indoors.

Installation

Use a Risk of Rain 2 mod manager and install the dependencies listed in the

manifest. For a local package, import this ZIP as a local mod into a clean profile.

Bibi appears in survivor selection without an unlock requirement.

For manual installation, install the listed dependencies first, then copy

plugins/BibiSurvivor into BepInEx/plugins. Keep the AssetBundles and UI

subfolders beside BibiSurvivor.dll. Remove that BibiSurvivor folder to uninstall.

Version 0.3.2

This is an early release. See VALIDATION.md for the exact tested build,

results, and remaining limitations. All peers need the same version for a modded

multiplayer session. Remote multiplayer has not yet been independently verified.

Diagnostic actors and temporary protection exist only when the developer explicitly

sets BIBI_DEV_TESTS=1; normal launches do not run the diagnostic sequence.

Install & use Install: BepInEx plugin

  1. The archive from playbuff is the mod itself — usually a BepInEx plugin (a .dll or a plugin folder once unzipped).
  2. Recommended: use a community mod manager (such as r2modman) — pick this game, import the mod, and the manager sets up BepInEx and its dependencies for you.
  3. Manual route: install the BepInEx loader in the game folder, then drop the unzipped .dll or plugin folder into BepInEx/plugins/.
  4. Launch the game — the BepInEx console logs every plugin it loads; seeing this mod in the log means it is installed.

Mods with listed dependencies need those installed too, or they will not load. Options are usually changed in-game or in the plugin's config file.
