About this mod Author’s original text
Re-implements the unused "ShrineEmpower" and "Shrine6" interactables, encouraging more temporary item play.
Shrine of Empowerment
Mostly the same as before (now with a ping icon!). Sacrifice a percentage of your health for a chance to earn 4 temporary Boss items, up to 2 payouts.
Currently has a 30% chance to replace a Greater Blood (Providence Sacrifice) Shrine on stage 5.
If no Greater Blood Shrines spawned on the stage, then its InteractableCard is added to the stage (costs the same credits as a prov shrine at 120).
Shrine of Vigor
A re-implementation of Shrine6 (old shrine on the left). Now with a whole new look to boot. Still has the same payout with 8 red-temporary (CHEF temp type) stacks of a damage item.
Instead of gold, it now costs 10 flat hp at base and has a 55% chance to payout. Unlike most shrines, it can now payout up to 4 times (cost increases by x1.3 each use) before being destroyed.
InteractableCard costs 90 director credits and can currently only spawn on stages 1, 3, and 5.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- Most mods rely on the game's mod loader — the usual route is a community mod manager (such as r2modman): pick this game, install, and it handles the loader and dependencies.
- For a manual install, put the mod files into the matching Mod / plugins folder inside the game directory.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; mods with listed dependencies need those installed as well.
Install locations vary a lot between mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide. If the mod depends on a loader such as ReturnOfModding, install it first as the readme describes.
Install these first, or the mod will not work:
