Dahlia's Monsters
This mod introduces new enemies from the deepest parts of Petrichor V to Risk of Rain Returns. Are you brave enough to face these new foes?
There is only one new monster for now.. but more are planned to be added soon! (Including.. new bosses?:o)
Enemies
- Beta Construct - Don't underestimate this critter! While it may look harmless, this enemy empowers the nearest four available monsters with a plethora of buffs!
Contact
Please contact me in @duhhlia in the Risk of Rain Returns Modding Discord if you have any feedback to share! As this mod is in early development, feedback would be greatly appreciated!
Known Issues
As far as I'm aware, multiplayer works Fine! Visual effects for enemies being buffed might be a bit finnicky, it is still possible to tell if an enemy is buffed so don't worry about not being able to tell; they just don't display the correct colour and the beam doesn't display correctly either.. this will be fixed soon! It requires a complete rewrite of the code so it will be done when there is time!!

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- Most mods rely on the game's mod loader — the usual route is a community mod manager (such as r2modman): pick this game, install, and it handles the loader and dependencies.
- For a manual install, put the mod files into the matching Mod / plugins folder inside the game directory.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; mods with listed dependencies need those installed as well.
Install locations vary a lot between mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide. If the mod depends on a loader such as ReturnOfModding, install it first as the readme describes.
Install these first, or the mod will not work:
