Introduction:

Rocket wood stoves cook food quickly and conduct the heat from combustion through the stone. Use wood as fuel. Like all heat sources, it must be placed indoors so that it can heat an enclosed space.

The rocket stove uses simple physical principles to join three iron cans into an L shape. The taller one is the combustion chamber, and the shorter one is the fuel chamber. Put firewood on the wire mesh, and add a large iron can on the outside. Fill it with insulation material to maintain the temperature of the combustion chamber. The L-shaped structure can generate convection to maintain enough oxygen for combustion. It requires very little fuel, but it can produce maximum efficiency. Compared with traditional firewood cooking, at least two-thirds of the fuel can be saved.

This practical invention was actually used to improve the cooking problems of African residents. Local residents had to spend a lot of time collecting fuel. The toxic smoke produced by cooking indoors affected their health, and excessive deforestation damaged the environment. In view of this, American professor Dr. Larry Winiarski led researchers at the Aprovecho Research Center in the United States to begin developing stoves in the 1980s. Finally, they discovered that the principles of rocket technology could be applied to the design of stoves.

By using local materials and making good use of local resources, the technology and products meet the needs of the people, and achieve the principles of high efficiency, environmental protection, and sustainable development.
