Break the placement restrictions, place any pick-up items anywhere in the store, and arrange your store display freely.
Module introduction
"PlaceAnywhere" is a free-placement mod for Returns Store Simulator. The game has strict area restrictions on item placement by default, often making it impossible to arrange the store as you wish. This mod breaks these limitations - as long as you can pick up the item, you can place it anywhere, allowing you to design your store display however you like.
Features
- Remove restrictions on where items can be placed
- Any pickable item can be placed anywhere in the store
- Freely arrange shelves, decorations and merchandise displays
- Create your ideal store layout
Installation method
- Make sure BepInEx module framework is installed (pre-requisite)
- Download the DLL file of this module
- Place the DLL file into the BepInEx/plugins folder
- Start the game and place items freely
Notes
- Prerequisites: BepInEx framework needs to be installed first
- Placing it in an unexpected location may cause the item to float or wear through the mold.
- Customers may not be able to reach shelves placed in unreasonable locations
- It is recommended to be creative within reason
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
