The Deck — Experimental Test Build
A Riders Republic The Deck reconstruction compiled as a native ReSkate level.
This is a test build, not a gameplay-validated release. The package is accepted
by ReSkate, but skating, grinds, collision joins, respawning and performance have
not yet been verified in game. Peripheral ground is reconstructed rather than
the original decoded terrain. Event variants and original shaders are incomplete.
Requirements
- Your own supported skate. installation: Steam build 25414733.
- ReSkate 1.0.8, used for package integration checks.
- A Windows PC capable of running the game.
Manual installation
- Close the game.
- Create Mods/TheDeck beside Skate.exe.
- Extract the contents of this ZIP directly into that folder.
- Confirm that Mods/TheDeck/reskate-levels.json exists.
- Launch ReSkate. Enable the mod if necessary and look for TheDeck in the
custom-level destinations of the ReSkate world/fast-travel menu (Insert).
This archive follows the flat layout of the Bedroom ReSkate reference package.
It contains the compiled mod only; it does not include skate., ReSkate or Blender.
Test checklist
Check the spawn, bowls, rails, ground joins, respawn, outer boundaries and frame
rate. Report missing collision or rendering before treating the map as ready.
Credits and rights
Riders Republic source assets belong to their respective rights holders.
This package does not provide permission for public redistribution of those
assets. It is an unofficial conversion and is not endorsed by Ubisoft or EA.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- Most mods rely on the game's mod loader — the usual route is a community mod manager (such as r2modman): pick this game, install, and it handles the loader and dependencies.
- For a manual install, put the mod files into the matching Mod / plugins folder inside the game directory.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; mods with listed dependencies need those installed as well.
Install locations vary a lot between mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
