Tech Deck Board

by computerK

Give your board a Tech Deck-inspired shape: a wider outline, deeper concave

and rounded kicks. Trucks and wheel spacing widen to match, while the board

keeps its normal length and your chosen graphics.

Pair it with Fingerboard for floating shoes and the Tech Deck grip,

or use it with your normal skater. Fingerboard is optional; this is a

separate mod you can enable or disable independently.

How to use

  • Install and enable Tech_Deck_Board in the ReSkate launcher.
  • Equip a deck that uses the stock popsicle shape.
  • For the look shown with floating shoes, enable Fingerboard and select

Apparel → Costumes → Fingerboard Feet, then choose Tech Deck Grip

in the board customization menu.

Disable this mod and restart Skate to restore the stock board shape.

For manual installation, extract the ZIP into Skate/Mods/computerK-Tech_Deck_Board.

Close Skate and the launcher before manually installing or removing files.

Notes

Tested in game on Skate 25414733 with ReSkate 1.1.5. Some foot clipping

occurs during animations, though it is usually subtle. Skating physics

remain stock.

The shape applies to all decks using the stock popsicle mesh. Disable

WideDeck12, Steep Concave Board Shape, and other mods replacing the

same board assets. Multiplayer is untested.

Credits

Shape adapted from leoskates' fingerboard model on Nexprint,

listed under CC BY 4.0,

recovered from Evan Park's credited Fab Academy assembly.

The reference's proportions and curves were transferred to Skate's board mesh.

Thanks to widemod's WideDeck12

and aescher's Steep Concave Board Shape

for the board-mod references.

Tech Deck belongs to Spin Master. This is an unofficial fan mod.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. Most mods rely on the game's mod loader — the usual route is a community mod manager (such as r2modman): pick this game, install, and it handles the loader and dependencies.
  3. For a manual install, put the mod files into the matching Mod / plugins folder inside the game directory.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; mods with listed dependencies need those installed as well.

Install locations vary a lot between mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
