Southbank
London's Southbank Undercroft, ported to ReSkate from Photorealistic Southbank by g0ya for Skater XL.
What is in it
- The undercroft at night: the ceiling fixtures and work lights are real lights, with baked bounce light.
- A riverside outside the railing: the river, the far bank, a bridge and street lamps. Hop the railing and you land in the Thames, which puts you back on your feet.
- The original author's grind lines, with the duplicates removed. Metal rails sound like metal, ledges like concrete, planks like wood.
- Floor litter (cups, bottles, boxes) no longer trips you.
Known issues
- The far bank is simple blocks with lit windows. It is meant to be seen at night; in daylight it looks flat.
- The lamps are off during the day.
- There is a hole in the floor at the right-hand end of the undercroft, as in the original. Falling in puts you back on your feet.
Install
Install it from the ReSkate launcher's mod browser, or unzip this package into its own folder under Mods next to ReSkateLauncher.exe. In game, open the pause menu, then Custom Stuff, then Custom Maps, and pick Southbank.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- Most mods rely on the game's mod loader — the usual route is a community mod manager (such as r2modman): pick this game, install, and it handles the loader and dependencies.
- For a manual install, put the mod files into the matching Mod / plugins folder inside the game directory.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; mods with listed dependencies need those installed as well.
Install locations vary a lot between mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
