RuneScape Outfits

By Normo — v1.0.0

Four full-body RuneScape costumes for skate. with ReSkate:

  • Bob the Bot — yellow shirt and green trousers.
  • Ancestral Mage — wizard hat, robes and cape.
  • Bronze FashionScape — armour, blue crown and back-mounted bag.
  • Spooky — Halloween skeleton outfit.

Requirements

Your own installation of skate. and a working ReSkate installation.

The costume assets were built against skate. content head 625200, originally with ReSkate 1.1.2. Compatibility with every later game or ReSkate build is not verified.

Manual installation

  • Close skate. and ReSkate Launcher.
  • Move an older RunescapeOutfitsUnified folder out of the game's Mods folder as a backup. Also remove older separate RunescapeCharacter or RunescapeAncestralBronze packs from Mods to avoid conflicts.
  • Create Mods/RunescapeOutfitsUnified beside Skate.exe and ReSkateLauncher.exe.
  • Extract the contents of this ZIP into that folder. Win32, layout.toc, initfs\_win32 and manifest.json must be directly inside it. Replace the whole old package rather than merging versions.
  • Open ReSkate Launcher and enable the pack in Mod Manager.
  • Open My Stuff → Apparel → Costumes in the game and select an outfit.

Ancestral may appear as "ancetral runescape"; Spooky may appear as "Spooky SevenSlot Native" or "Spooky Runescape".

Uninstall

Close the game and launcher, then remove Mods/RunescapeOutfitsUnified.

Notes

  • These are costume meshes using the game's character animations.
  • The Ancestral cape and robe bottoms are skinned meshes; simulated cloth is not included. Some poses can clip.
  • The original three costumes and Spooky have received visual checks. This combined release has passed archive checks; it has not received an additional full combined gameplay check.
  • Multiplayer compatibility is not separately verified.

If an outfit is missing or its colours are wrong, first check that no older separate RuneScape pack remains enabled. Back up your profile before changing mods.

Credits

Pack by Normo. RuneScape characters and artwork belong to Jagex. ReSkate and ReSkate Studio are credited to their respective developers. This is an unofficial fan-made costume pack.

The package icon uses the supplied RuneScape logo with an AI-edited banner reading "RuneScape Outfits".

Updating

Keep the package name RuneScape\_Outfits unchanged.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. Most mods rely on the game's mod loader — the usual route is a community mod manager (such as r2modman): pick this game, install, and it handles the loader and dependencies.
  3. For a manual install, put the mod files into the matching Mod / plugins folder inside the game directory.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; mods with listed dependencies need those installed as well.

Install locations vary a lot between mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
