About this mod Author’s original text

Mini Skater

A little smaller. Just as much skate.

Shrink your skater to 80% of normal size for a fun mini-skater look inspired by Skate 3. Your skateboard stays its regular size, and the mod does not change gameplay physics or movement tuning.

Features

  • 80% character size with normal body proportions
  • Works with compatible custom character mesh replacements
  • No changes to skateboard scale or game physics
  • Always active while the mod is enabled; no console commands needed

Installation

  • Install the ZIP using the ReSkate Launcher.
  • Enable Mini Skater in your mods list.
  • Disable conflicting mods that edit the same skater bind-pose asset (for example, Big Head or earlier Mini Skater scale tests).
  • Restart ReSkate.

Your own custom model swap can stay enabled.

Compatibility and visibility

  • Intended for ReSkate's supported game version and offline / hosted play.
  • The local skater should appear smaller. Whether other players see resized bones depends on server bone-scale rules.
  • This is a skater bind-pose asset patch (animation/dingo/cas_rsp_body_bind), not a ReSkate runtime DLL replacement.
  • To return to normal size, disable the mod and restart the game.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. Most mods rely on the game's mod loader — the usual route is a community mod manager (such as r2modman): pick this game, install, and it handles the loader and dependencies.
  3. For a manual install, put the mod files into the matching Mod / plugins folder inside the game directory.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; mods with listed dependencies need those installed as well.

Install locations vary a lot between mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
