RE4 Leon HD
Author:arch
Hi guys! Completed my first request! RE4 Leon costume, replaces EX2. Sorry this took so long!
Some things/to-dos:
Used Debug longsleeve Leon as the base, so the rigging is a bit different from the Shigu, especially the shoulders. Leon is most noticeable when he's lying on the floor. I can't replicate it because I'm using a different base.
The mrl used is also different so the texture looks a bit different (not as shiny, no rough pants texture etc).
Hand work! I even modified the left and right hand arcs so that the glove would be consistent across all movements (cell phone, commands, etc.).
Available in holsterless version, anti-virus textured version, and dark hair texture. anti-venom ver has different face and arm textures. Just copy the files in the optional folder and overwrite!
The RE4 head is not entirely source accurate, I tweaked it a bit. But it has facial rigging and hair physics!
Patch 1! Fixed some UV bugs with holsters and edited mrls and removed duplicate textures.
Acknowledgments:
Big thanks to Leon S. Kennedy for sending me tons of resources! He sent me a lot of great stuff and I honestly am no longer sure who specifically made some of the stuff I used. There are also anti-venom replacement tex versions and body MM and NM maps, xnalara porters for the RE4 Leon model and hair and face textures, and blaytron's high-resolution holster textures.
Feel free to reskin, swap, etc. without asking my permission. A link back would be nice tho and also feel free to tell me if you want something removed or deleted.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
