RE5 - Gold Version Characters Cameo in Revelations 2
Hello everyone! I'm working on this little project that will bring RE5 gold edition characters to this game, I might have some issues with the sheva fairy because of the alpha layer on her body, but so far I'll try my best to bring them to this game. Now, you have to remember that this game has a "static pointer system" and requires almost 10 hours of getting rid of/editing normals/gear, so progress will be slow, so please be patient. Also, I know you guys will love the perfect ports of these characters, but you have to remember that those "direct ports" require a lot of modifications to work properly into another engine, which can cause some unwanted issues like broken skirts or clipped objects.
Document introduction:
Axela replaces Claire in raid mode
Axela replaces Gina in raid mode
Rebecca replaces Claire in raid mode
Keep in mind that I had to do a lot of modifications and edits to the model to get it to work "correctly" with the REV2 Anim system, if it doesn't look "as it should" it's probably my fault, I still think I'm pretty bad at it, so you may see some issues here. Thanks for reading and enjoy this girl!
Install:
Just drag and drop to your "nativePCNext\arc\DX9NEXT" folder and overwrite. Make a backup!
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
