What this mod does
Weeping Angel Renewed adds a creepy custom enemy into REPO that brings full statue panic energy into your runs.
- Freezes when players are looking at it
- Starts hunting when nobody is watching
- Roams the map and locks onto players when it sees an opening
- Attacks up close with its own strike behavior
- Uses RepoLib and modern prefab registration for current REPO versions
How the Weeping Angel works
The Weeping Angel is all about pressure.
- If players are looking at it, it freezes in place
- If players look away, it starts moving again
- It stalks players through the level and closes distance when it gets the chance
- If it gets right on top of you, it can kill you
It is meant to feel tense, creepy, and unfair in the fun way.
Multiplayer
ALL PLAYERS NEED THE MOD.
This is not a client side enemy mod.
- The host needs it
- Every client joining also needs it
- If someone does not have it installed, do not expect things to work right
Notes
- Built for current REPO using RepoLib
- Uses a custom enemy bundle and custom enemy code
- Made to fit the normal enemy pool and spawn chaos naturally
Credits
- Code and Weeping Angel behavior made by Omniscye/Empress
- Model was made by NO DONT EAT ME CASEOH (Ferris wheel) and is licensed under
- Shout out to JoshA for the original Weeping Angel mod that helped inspire this renewed release
Install & use Install: BepInEx plugin
- The archive from playbuff is the mod itself — usually a BepInEx plugin (a .dll or a plugin folder once unzipped).
- Recommended: use a community mod manager (such as r2modman) — pick this game, import the mod, and the manager sets up BepInEx and its dependencies for you.
- Manual route: install the BepInEx loader in the game folder, then drop the unzipped .dll or plugin folder into BepInEx/plugins/.
- Launch the game — the BepInEx console logs every plugin it loads; seeing this mod in the log means it is installed.
Mods with listed dependencies need those installed too, or they will not load. Options are usually changed in-game or in the plugin's config file.
Install these first, or the mod will not work:
