INCIDENT LOG: PORTAL_CORRUPTION_FAILURE
TIMESTAMP: Day 422:18000
USER: d3rLord
STATUS: SEVERED
I was just trying to reach the End. I had my eyes, I had the portal frame set, and I jumped. That should have been the end of the run. It was supposed to be the credits.
Instead, the portal didn't glow purple. It flickered—a sickening, static-filled black—and when I stepped through, I didn't land on obsidian. I landed here.
I’m in the facility. But it’s... wrong. Everything looks like blocks, but it smells like industrial rot. The economy is broken—it’s all Emeralds now—and the mobs? They aren't supposed to be here. I keep hearing the sound of a honk in the distance, and I don't know what it’s hunting, but I know it's not a villager.
I’ve been trapped in this loop for cycles. The quota still counts up, the corporate entities are still demanding their tax, and I can’t get back. The portal room is gone. There is only the facility.
WARNING: REALITY_FRACTURE
This sector is unstable.
- Do NOT attempt to "re-enter" the End Portal: The portal blocks in this world are not safe. They are a one-way ticket to deeper layers of this corporate nightmare.
- Bad Omen: The Pillager patrols are the least of your concerns. There are things crawling in these vents that have no business being in a blocky world.
- Emerald Corruption: The local currency is unstable. Do not hoard too much; the system is designed to trigger a "raid" once your net worth hits a threshold.
MISSION PARAMETERS
- Scavenge: Collect the Emeralds. It's the only way to appease the system.
- Survive: You are not in your world anymore.
- Extract: Get to the truck. Even if the truck is the only real thing left in this geometry, get out before the "Bad Omen" catches up to you.
The portal isn't broken. It's doing exactly what it was meant to do.
Install & use Install: BepInEx plugin
- The archive from playbuff is the mod itself — usually a BepInEx plugin (a .dll or a plugin folder once unzipped).
- Recommended: use a community mod manager (such as r2modman) — pick this game, import the mod, and the manager sets up BepInEx and its dependencies for you.
- Manual route: install the BepInEx loader in the game folder, then drop the unzipped .dll or plugin folder into BepInEx/plugins/.
- Launch the game — the BepInEx console logs every plugin it loads; seeing this mod in the log means it is installed.
Mods with listed dependencies need those installed too, or they will not load. Options are usually changed in-game or in the plugin's config file.
Install these first, or the mod will not work:
