Unbreakable Valuables
Unbreakable Valuables is a BepInEx plugin for R.E.P.O. that lets you control how much durability/value valuables lose when used or when they slam into the world.
- Weapon swinging: Scales durability drain when melee weapons hit (ItemMelee.SwingHitRPC).
- Physics impacts: Scales value loss when valuables are dropped/thrown and break (PhysGrabObjectImpactDetector.BreakRPC).
- Fully configurable: One slider controls both behaviors.
Configuration
Config file: BepInEx/config/com.Tolga.UnbreakableValuables.cfg
- Section: General
- Key: DamageMultiplier
- Range: 0.00–5.00 (step ≈ 0.01)
- 0.00 → Valuables do not lose value/durability (effectively unbreakable).
- 1.00 → Game's normal behavior.
- >1.00 → Valuables lose value/durability faster (e.g. 5.00 = 5× damage).
Installation (Manual)
- Install BepInEx 5 for your game if you haven’t already.
- Copy UnbreakableValuables.dll into:
- R.E.P.O.\BepInEx\plugins\UnbreakableValuables\UnbreakableValuables.dll
- Launch the game once so BepInEx generates the config file.
- Edit com.Tolga.UnbreakableValuables.cfg to your preferred DamageMultiplier.
Multiplayer Note
Valuable damage from physics is calculated on the host.
For consistent behavior, use this mod in singleplayer or when you are hosting the lobby; as a client in someone else's lobby, the host's setup will determine whether valuables break.
Install & use Install: BepInEx plugin
- The archive from playbuff is the mod itself — usually a BepInEx plugin (a .dll or a plugin folder once unzipped).
- Recommended: use a community mod manager (such as r2modman) — pick this game, import the mod, and the manager sets up BepInEx and its dependencies for you.
- Manual route: install the BepInEx loader in the game folder, then drop the unzipped .dll or plugin folder into BepInEx/plugins/.
- Launch the game — the BepInEx console logs every plugin it loads; seeing this mod in the log means it is installed.
Mods with listed dependencies need those installed too, or they will not load. Options are usually changed in-game or in the plugin's config file.
Install these first, or the mod will not work:
