This mod is a simple patch that ignores the TTS format in the game. It allows you to use chat formatting without any issues.

TTS Syntax Filter
Ever get tired of your TTS reading out every single `,, or ` like it’s auditioning for a job as an HTML parser?
TTS Syntax Filter is here to save your ears (and sanity).
What does it do?
This mod makes the damn TTS system shut up about the formatting tags.
Your chat UI stays pretty and colorful, but the TTS will finally stop spelling out every. single. tag.
No more “less than eye greater than hello less than slash eye greater than world.”
Just “_hello_ world.” Like it should be.
Features
- Strips all `` from TTS output
- Leaves your chat formatting untouched
FAQ
Q: Will my chat still look fabulous?
A: Absolutely. Your TTS just won’t try to narrate your style choices.
Q: Does this work with custom tags?
A: If it looks like ``, it’s gone from TTS.
Q: Can I make TTS read tags again?
A: Why the hell would you want that?
**Q: Why are you such a sassy b*tch?**
A: End of FAQ.
But with all seriousness, enjoy the mod.
Install & use Install: BepInEx plugin
- The archive from playbuff is the mod itself — usually a BepInEx plugin (a .dll or a plugin folder once unzipped).
- Recommended: use a community mod manager (such as r2modman) — pick this game, import the mod, and the manager sets up BepInEx and its dependencies for you.
- Manual route: install the BepInEx loader in the game folder, then drop the unzipped .dll or plugin folder into BepInEx/plugins/.
- Launch the game — the BepInEx console logs every plugin it loads; seeing this mod in the log means it is installed.
Mods with listed dependencies need those installed too, or they will not load. Options are usually changed in-game or in the plugin's config file.
Install these first, or the mod will not work:
