Tokyo Race Course v1.0.8
An RNG Umamusume style race in REPO. You spawn in the gates, they open, your runner takes off on its own. You don't drive. That's the point.
What This Is
An RNG Semibot race based on Umamusume Pretty Derby. You load onto the racecourse, get locked in a starting gate, gates open, and hidden stats decide who wins.
You don't control your runner. That's the whole mod. Watch and cope.
Works solo but it's made for friends/ more people.
Controls
- None. You spawn, you watch.
- Host sets the config from the menu.
How It Works
- Everyone drops into a starting gate.
- Short wait so the lobby loads in, then a 10 second countdown.
- Gates open, everyone runs on their own.
- Broadcast camera follows the pack.
- First past the post wins. Last place gets launched.
Stats and Skills
Every runner secretly rolls stats at the start:
- Speed
- Power (gate burst)
- Stamina (late race)
- Guts (final kick)
- Wit (skill chance)
Runners also proc Uma skills mid race. The skill name pops up with a glow on whoever triggered it. That's why the lead changes and why you can't call the winner early.
You don't see your own stats. It's random on purpose.
Winning and Losing
- Win and you get a random permanent upgrade.
- Last place gets blown up.
- Then everyone moves to the next level.
Config
Host only:
- Countdown length.
- Results screen time.
- Force race load (testing).
Needs REPOConfig for the menu.
Notes
- Holds up to 12 runners (may not be perfect with that many).
- ALL players need this mod or the level won't load for them.
- REPOLib required.
- BepInEx required.
- REPOConfig required for the config menu.

Install & use Install: BepInEx plugin
- The archive from playbuff is the mod itself — usually a BepInEx plugin (a .dll or a plugin folder once unzipped).
- Recommended: use a community mod manager (such as r2modman) — pick this game, import the mod, and the manager sets up BepInEx and its dependencies for you.
- Manual route: install the BepInEx loader in the game folder, then drop the unzipped .dll or plugin folder into BepInEx/plugins/.
- Launch the game — the BepInEx console logs every plugin it loads; seeing this mod in the log means it is installed.
Mods with listed dependencies need those installed too, or they will not load. Options are usually changed in-game or in the plugin's config file.
Install these first, or the mod will not work:
