Throwable Objects
Throw any object you're holding with realistic physics! Grab an item, aim, and launch it with a single key press.
Features
- Throw any grabbed object - Launch items you're holding with a key press
- Realistic physics - Heavy objects fly slower, light objects fly faster (just like real life!)
- Fully configurable - Change the throw key and power to your preference
- Works while moving - Throw objects even while holding other keys like WASD
How to Use
- Grab an object using the game's normal grab mechanic
- Aim where you want to throw it (look in that direction)
- Press the throw key (default: F)
- Watch it fly!
Tips:
- Heavy items (like large crates) will fly slower and shorter distances
- Light items (like flashlights) will launch much faster
- You can throw while moving or holding other keys
Configuration
Open the in-game mod settings (REPOConfig) to customize:
- ThrowKey: Choose which key to press to throw (default: F)
- ThrowPower: How hard you throw (default: 30.0, range: 0.1 to 100.0)
- Lower values = weaker throws
- Higher values = stronger throws (light objects will launch like rockets!)
You can also manually edit the config file at BepInEx\config\Tolga.ThrowableObjects.cfg if you prefer.
Installation
- Make sure you have BepInEx 5 installed
- Copy ThrowableObjects.dll to:
- R.E.P.O.\BepInEx\plugins\ThrowableObjects\ThrowableObjects.dll
- Launch the game and start throwing!
Install & use Install: BepInEx plugin
- The archive from playbuff is the mod itself — usually a BepInEx plugin (a .dll or a plugin folder once unzipped).
- Recommended: use a community mod manager (such as r2modman) — pick this game, import the mod, and the manager sets up BepInEx and its dependencies for you.
- Manual route: install the BepInEx loader in the game folder, then drop the unzipped .dll or plugin folder into BepInEx/plugins/.
- Launch the game — the BepInEx console logs every plugin it loads; seeing this mod in the log means it is installed.
Mods with listed dependencies need those installed too, or they will not load. Options are usually changed in-game or in the plugin's config file.
